Forests are a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of our modern life. The cool quietness under the trees refreshes the soul and brings peace to the mind. Streams and waterfalls are equally refreshing. Most of these photos were taken in Big Sur. One was taken in the forests of Santa Cruz and one in southwestern Virginia.
